Farm Lab is growing!
We’re kicking off the 2022-2023 school year with some BIG changes — our Farm Lab program is growing! We are adding new educators to our Ventura County location at Petty Ranch AND expanding into Santa Barbara County with our new location at Allan Hancock College's Community Garden. Our goal this school year is to reach 3,700 students across both counties, and you can help us do that!
Our generous partners at Allan Hancock College, Santa Barbara Foundation and Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation are coming together to match all donations up to $10,000 in each county through the month of September!
Your donation supports SEEAG's Farm Lab program where students will explore all of the scientific components involved in the growth of our food! From touching the components of healthy soil to identifying the beneficial bugs on our farm, the kids have plenty of hands-on activities to get them connected with our local food system.
Donate today to support the growth and longevity of our Farm Lab program!

Help your county’s garden fill up!
- Every donation adds to our garden -
Watch the garden grow as donations come in! Donors will get their names added to these virtual gardens, as well as have their name displayed at the physical Farm Lab program locations in their respective counties.
Every dollar up to $10,000 in each county will be matched throughout the month of September thanks to our generous partners:

About our sponsors
About Allan Hancock College: Allan Hancock College fosters an educational culture that values equity and diversity and engages students in an inclusive learning environment. We offer pathways that encourage our student population to achieve personal, career, and academic goals through coursework leading to skills building, certificates, associate degrees, and transfer.
About the Santa Barbara Foundation: For over 94 years, the Santa Barbara Foundation has been a catalyst for change. We analyze issues to identify challenges that burden people every day in Santa Barbara County. We convene community stakeholders to build coalitions and partner with nonprofits and other leaders working on the front lines. Together, we chart a direction and mobilize people like you to support the dynamic initiatives that makes this a better place, now and for generations to come.
About the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation: Founded in 2015, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation aims to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, especially children, to live healthier lives. With a focus on nutrition education and fresh food access, our nonprofit partners teach children both how to grow and prepare fresh foods, as well as why such foods are important to their bodies. Knowing that kids who learn these lessons from a young age are more likely to grow up eating healthier food as adults, we reach children at every stage of development, providing hands-on learning and tasting of fresh fruits and vegetables as they grow.
